The New England Donor Services Blue & Green Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation, remember those who gave through donation and support the life-saving mission of saving and healing lives through donation.
It’s also a chance to share the Donate Life message and give hope to the 5,500 patients currently waiting for a transplant across New England.
This year, to keep our community safe, we will be hosting a “Walk From Home” leading up to a Drive Through Experience in Connecticut on the evening of April 24th!
Everyone is invited to sign up to walk 8.75 miles and fundraise with us all throughout the month of April!
The number 8 symbolizes the lives saved through organ donation and (point) 75 is for the lives saved and healed through tissue donation.
Help us raise $110,000 to support the effort to save and heal lives through donation. Despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, our work continues and will continue until there is no longer a single patient waiting for a transplant.
