Mike Willinsky started as an OSRC at NEDS close to a year ago. Mike grew up near a fire station and became interested in the line of work after seeing his local fire department help save lives. He started as a firefighter himself in various New Hampshire towns and then moved on to working as a paramedic for a local NH hospital. Mike heard about an opportunity to work as an OSRC at New England Donor Services through a colleague.

Mike commented “I have always been passionate about organ donation through a personal connection and since starting with NEDS I have enjoyed being on-site in Waltham and interacting with my team members. The most rewarding part of working for NEDS is the feedback I receive from my team after every case and how someone is always available 24/7 to help.”

According to Mike’s manager, Regina Swanton, “Mike is a team player who is ready to be there where support is needed and provides a positive environment for his team members. He is dedicated to ongoing learning within his role and reciprocates the support he is given. Mike consistently reaches out to ask for advice and guidance on what he can do better.”

Thank you, Mike, for being a part of NEDS and helping to save and heal lives every day. #MeaningfulWork
